Few industry pioneers can boast of having continually switched between consulting tasks and hands-on implementation throughout their careers – Per Østergaard Jacobsen is one of them. A man with tremendous breadth as well as depth of experience on both sides of the marketing fence, he is truly one of the digital era’s mavericks.

Per specializes in CRM and business development, and is one of very few who have formally worked with performance measurement in marketing. In fact, it’s entirely correct to say he wrote the book on the subject (Salg/marketing-regnskabet – Et ledelsesværktøj til effektivisering af salg og marketing).

Per has held positions that include marketing director for HP, manager of PriceWaterhouseCooper’s CRM team, and a long and varied marketing career with Statoil. His agency-side career lists Masters, Ahead Dialogue, Kommunikationshuset SP3, and (today) Webtop A/S, where he leads business development and CRM activities. Among Per’s many industry initiatives are the founding of the Digitalization Prize and arranging a number of popular conferences focused on increasing the effectiveness of sales and marketing.

He also wrote the runaway bestseller “The CRM handbook”, sold in over 50,000 copies and translated into six different languages.
